One month ago I sent mail to MySpace requesting that the fake Therion page was to be deleted. I first got reply that Therion had to take a pic with their names on it holding a sign that says myspace.com. Of course this is something I didn't even bother forwarding to Therion. It should be MySpace's responsibility that the band pages they host are authentic, not the bands that gets impersonated. So instead I replied that my email address was public on Therion's website and that it should be enough proof of who I represented. I then got the reply that the account would be deleted. And obviously nothing has been done. Then now, a month later, with both Therion and Nuclear Blast being involved as well, nothing has happened. Just more promises of the page being deleted which has not been kept

So I strongly urge you to do as has been suggested on the forum. Delete your MySpace account and get everyone else you know to do the same. By being a MySpace user you support MySpace and thus support someone that does not care about Therion being impersonated. Nor do you care about the poor people who stumble onto that fake page and believe that Therion is behind it. So anyone who owns a MySpace account, deleted it NOW! And don't forget to state the reason for why you delete your account. Everyone else, feel free to send mail to MySpace and ask them why they allow people to abuse the name of Therion.

Update: The fake page has finally been taken down. But feel free to protest against MySpace anyway for letting it take so long. And for allowing it in the first place.
